Thank you for choosing to consign with Rock My Threads, a curated luxury resale destination. These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between the Consignor (“you”) and Rock My Threads (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for the consignment of designer and high-end fashion items.

1. Consignment Period

  • The standard consignment period is 365 days from the date your item is listed for sale.
  • At the end of the consignment period, unsold items may be:
    • Returned to you (shipping fees may apply),
    • Extended for another consignment term
    • Donated or extensively marked down with your permission.

2. Item Acceptance

  • We accept authentic, designer items including apparel, jewelry, shoes, handbags, and accessories.
  • All items are subject to inspection and approval.
  • You certify that all items consigned are authentic and legally owned by you.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or return items at our discretion.

 

3. Pricing

  • Pricing is determined collaboratively but ultimately at the discretion of Rock My Threads, based on market value, condition, and brand.
  • Items may be discounted at our discretion to facilitate sale unless you request a fixed price in writing.

4. Commission Structure

  • You will receive [X%] of the final sale price (excluding tax and shipping).
  • Our commission is [30% – 60%] and covers listing, marketing, photography, and handling.

5. Payouts

  • Payments are processed monthly, all items sold from the previous month will be paid out on the 15th of the following month.
  • Payments will be issued via [direct deposit, or store credit]. Any transaction fees from the payout method may be deducted from your earnings.

6. Loss or Damage

  • We take every precaution to protect your items, but we are not liable for loss or damage due to theft, fire, flood, or other unforeseen events.
  • You are consigning at your own risk, and we encourage insuring high-value items.

7. Returns and Refunds

  • All sales are final. In rare cases where returns are accepted, it may affect your commission.

8. Termination

  • You may request the return of your items at any time during the consignment period with notice. A handling or early return fee of $15 will apply.
  • We reserve the right to terminate this agreement and return items at any time.

 

 

9. Authenticity Guarantee

  • You affirm that all items are authentic. Counterfeit items will be rejected and may be reported or destroyed.
  • If a buyer disputes authenticity, payment may be withheld pending resolution.

10. Legal Compliance

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of [Your State].
  • Both parties agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration or mediation before pursuing legal action.

11. Changes to Terms

  • Rock My Threads reserves the right to amend these terms with 14 days' notice to consignors.

By consigning with Rock My Threads, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
